Information for High School Counselors

We encourage students to submit the application and additional required documents early. The Office of Admission closes over the holidays in late December/early January.

Visiting Campus

We welcome you to visit Grinnell College at any point during the year. We ask that you call us ahead of time with the date that you intend to visit.

During the academic year, we sometimes host a Counselor Conference and invite a small group of counselors from U.S. high schools and agencies. The Counselor Conference includes spending a three-day weekend on campus experiencing Grinnell campus life. You have the opportunity to meet the admission staff, learn how we review applications, attend class, meet professors, meet students, and take a campus tour.

If you would like to receive information about our Counselor Conference program, please contact the Office at 1-800-247-0113.
